These visas allow foreign nationals to formally immigrate to the US  i.e. obtain a Green Card.

Investor Visa EB-5

Immigrant investor and entrepreneur visas allow foreign entrepreneurs and business owners who have started or are about to start a new business in the United States to immigrate permanently to the United States.

The EB-5 visa allows foreign entrepreneurs or investors to get a Green Card in the United States. To qualify for this visa, you must meet two requirements:

  1. Invest or be in the process of investing $900,000 in a high-unemployment area or rural area or $1,800,000 in any other business; and,

  2. Prove that the business has created or preserved, or will create or preserve, at least 10 full-time jobs in the United States.

Employment-based visa EB-1

This visa allows a multinational executive or manager, outstanding professor or researcher, foreigner to relocate permanently in the US.

To qualify for this visa, you must demonstrate that:

  1. You have  been employed in an executive or managerial position for at least one continuous year in the preceding three years by an affiliate company overseas, and that you are  coming to work in  the United States in a managerial or executive position, OR

  2. You have obtained international acclaim, have three years experience in teaching or research and are on a tenure track; OR

  3. You have extraordinary ability in sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, and are coming to the United States to continue the work in the same field, and work will benefit the United States.

Employment-based visa EB-2/ National Interest Waiver (NIW)

This visa grants United States permanent residency to foreign nationals who hold an advanced degree or have an exceptional ability in the sciences, arts or business

To qualify for this visa, you must demonstrate:

  1. You must hold at least a master’s degree or its equivalent, or a bachelor’s level degree with a minimum of five years of increasing experience and are coming to the United States to work in a position that requires an advanced degree or an equivalent qualification; OR

  2. You have an exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business and hold “a degree of expertise significantly above  that ordinarily encountered in the sciences, arts, or business”  in the United States
